David Berz

David Berz began his career as a web applications developer and database administrator.  During this time the opportunity came up for him to teach these same skills at Northern Arizona University (NAU) and Coconino Community College.  It was through this opportunity that David discovered his passion for learning and development. 

In 2005, David left his role at NAU and joined the men and women providing rescue efforts to the affected people of hurricane Katrina and spent several months building an IT infrastructure for remote disaster assistance centers.

Throughout his career David has used his knowledge of technology and his passion for learning within the internet industry.  Companies include Walt Disney Interactive Media, Mozilla Firefox and LinkedIn. Today David leads a team of learning instructional designers at Linkedin whose key focus is to create web and elearning experiences for the global LinkedIn enterprise.
