Global Research Collaboration (GRC) Programs
Program Mission and Description
GRC's research program is organized into eleven technical thrusts.
Each thrust is managed by a GRC thrust director with the ongoing involvement of industry representatives who participate through the Thrust Technical Advisory Boards (TABs). These committees work with GRC directors to provide focused direction and oversight of GRC-funded research.
GRC's research management develops specific goals to guide, focus, and rank research efforts and to provide a basis for measuring progress and obtaining the needed results.
The SRC Contracts Office implements and administers all formal business agreements for specific research projects.
Total cycle time required from invention to commercialization is shortened via GRC's research process and quality programs. By committing to the principle of continuous quality improvement, GRC manages its internationally acclaimed, industry-driven research program at a very low total operating expense.
